The VEX Robotics Competition is one of the largest and fastest growing secondary school robotics competitions in the world with more than 4,800 teams from 20 countries taking part in over 300 tournaments worldwide.
The UK National Championships will be held at The Big Bang Fair at ExCeL, London in March 2013.
The 2012/13 academic year sees the first regional VEX Robotics Competitions taking place in the UK with teams competing for a place at the UK National Championships and ultimately, earning a place at the VEX World Championships.
This year’s challenge is called ‘Sack Attack’. Students will need to build innovative robots which can operate both autonomously and under driver control to score the most points possible.
