Manchester 2010, what happened

If you were lucky enough to make it along to 2010’s Big Bang, you’ll know how big a deal it was. If you didn’t, don’t worry. You can see some of the highlights here. Ian Holloway, manager of Football League champions Blackpool, joined us at The Big Bang in Manchester. Ian told us about the place of technology in sport and how great careers in sports are available to us all (not just world class football players).

BrainiacWhile BBC’s Bang Goes the Theory stretched and tested science, the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures introduced us to a very cute lemur called Curtis. Meanwhile, the Punk Scientists led a show looking like a stage invasion at Glastonbury and the Brainiac Live team took us on a breathless ride through the world of the weird and wonderful. See the theatre show images here.
