The Big Bang Fair is calling for companies, activity providers, education institutions and show organisers to get involved in the 2018 Fair.

Celebrating its tenth year in 2018, The Big Bang Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths for young people in the UK, supported by an unprecedented and unparalleled collaboration between Government, industry and the wider STEM community.

Working together, we provide the introduction and inspiration that puts young people on the course to follow rewarding careers in science or engineering. In partnership, we are inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.

We are looking for inspiring and engaging activities targeted at 7-19 year olds to get them hands-on with STEM.

The Fair offers partners the opportunity to access our audience of over 65,000 young people across four days, to inspire them with STEM while promoting your programmes, workshops and activities to over 800 schools16,000 teachers and parents, as well as prospective links in industry and Government

“The Big Bang Fair provided us with a fantastic opportunity to give students an insight into health and medicine as a possible career path. Working alongside many other STEM companies The Big Bang Fair gave us a prestigious opportunity to showcase our school based events to teachers all over the UK. The Fair also helped us reach out to and engage a mass number of pupils in one go and fulfil our self-set obligation of widening participation.”

Kevin Piri, Director for UK and International Operations, Inspire to Aspire Events, which ran an interactive stand at The Big Bang Fair 2016

“Exhibiting at The Big Bang Fair was a fantastic experience and proved very successful. As a sole trader, these types of event can be a very expensive marketing exercise but I was able to put together a team and get funding from The Big Bang Fair to deliver my activity. Our Science of the Vikings display reached thousands of people during the Fair, leading to additional work as a direct consequence of attending.”
