From 15 - 17 March 2012, The Big Bang Fair comes to The NEC, Birmingham. Always free, visitors can do everything from designing a solar powered water heater to exploring radioactivity.

Held at The NEC Birmingham from 15 -17 March, this free event is a great opportunity for your students or children to experience science, technology, engineering and maths up close in a fresh new way.
Thursday 15th and Friday 16th March are for school groups, while we welcome families on Saturday 17th. You and they will be able to get hands-on with a huge range of activities, enjoy theatre shows and be inspired by meeting some of the country's leading science, technology, engineering and maths talent.

Entry to the National Science & Engineering Competition has now closed, but make sure to come along to The Big Bang Fair to see the finalists.
Open to all 11-18 year olds living in the UK and in full-time education, the Competition rewards students who have achieved excellence in a science, technology, engineering or maths project. The finals of the Competition are held each March as a central part of The Big Bang Fair.
